1) Before you can install YOU NEED TO TURN OFF gameplay feedback and autoconnect.
Do so by starting Mass Effect 2 and going to extras > Options.
Then exit game.
2) Install all the files from DLC directory
3) Put the crack from to your Mass Effect 2
directory. Run Crack from there.
4) Start the game and enjoy your new Mass Effect 2 content
